Samuel Stephens II

November 13, 1989 - January 20, 2022

Samuel Stephens II was born on November, 13, 1989 to Samuel & Marline (Boone) Stephens in Ann Arbor, MI. He attended Ann Arbor Public Schools and received his diploma from Pioneer High School. He gained his Associates in Business from Washtenaw Community College as well as a Bachelors in Business and Masters degree from Eastern Michigan University. Sam had a strong appreciation for education and learning. He had many talents and a great love for creating music. Over the years he produced a vast catalog of songs earning him recognition as a great musical producer. At a young age, little Sam gave his life to the Lord and was baptized at Metropolitan Memorial Baptist Church under the late Rev. S.L. Roberson. He was also a member of Ekklesia Fellowship Ministries under the late Pastor Victoria James. He was known for his bright smile and big heart. He touched many lives through his music and brilliant personality. God called Sam home on January 20, 2022. He was preceded in death by his Grandfather Jimmie Stephens, Grandfather Rosber Boone, Grandmother Johnnie Mae Boone, Uncle Darnell Boone, Aunt Linda Boone and Uncle Jimmy Boone. Sam will be greatly missed by those left to cherish his memories: his parents Samuel & Marline (Boone) Stephens, his grandmother Mattie (Thomas) Stephens, his siblings: Jawanna (Joe) Sims, Candice (Kevin) Spencer, Danielle Stephens, Robyn (Dion) Nailor and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Special acknowledgement to his close cousin Eddie Stephens Jr. who was more like a brother than a cousin.
