Tracey Foley Obituary
Tracey Foley, a longtime resident of Ypsilanti, Michigan was born January 16, 1934, the son of the late Minor Foley and Willie Lee Anderson. Tracey was blessed at the tender age of 13, with a bonus dad when his mother married Wilbon Hardwick. Tracey passed away unexpectedly at his home at the age of 86 surrounded by family.
Tracey graduated from Ypsilanti High School in 1953. Tracey was an avid player of baseball, and was good at it. In addition to baseball, he loved to play ping pong and watch tennis. Over the years Tracey had various jobs. Tracey was employed at Ford Motor Company, Rawsonville for 40 years, upon which he would retire.
On June 5, 1990 Tracey married the love of his life Sandra Stankiewicz.
In addition to his loving wife Sandra of 30 years, survivors include: 12 children, Teresa Nathan, Tracey Foley Jr., Karen (Jeffery) Clifton of Ypsilanti, MI; Cynthia (Hurris) Little, Charlene (Jeffery) Dixon of Romulus, MI; Mary (Melvin) McKnight of Battle Creek, MI; Michael (Marichal) Foley, Melissa Foley, Sean (Jamila) Foley of Belleville, MI; Mit (Germaine) Foley of Saginaw, MI; Tracey Foley of Detroit, MI and Donnella (Keith) Boone of Cypress, TX, 38 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; 5 great great-grandchildren; 1 sister Marilyn Hardwick Manuel of Ypsilanti, MI and 1 brother Bernard Hardwick also of Ypsilanti, MI and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Minor Foley, Willie Lee Anderson Hardwick, Wilbon Hardwick, brothers; Arthur, Donald and Harry.
