LaTanya Janae Bell, affectionately known as "Tanya" or "LaLa," was born on August 20, 1993, as the third and youngest daughter of Dineya R. Bell.
Tanya was a vibrant person, who brought joy and energy to every moment. To hang around her was a guaranteed good time, as she truly was the life of the party. She was full of enerey and was known to "tell it like it is". She was devoted to her family-always one call away and ready for whatever. Growing up in a home filled with love, laughter, celebrations, and challenges; there was never a dull moment with Dineya and her girls.
At an early age, LaTanya accepted Christ at Messiah's Temple in Ypsilanti, MI, where she cherished attending Sunday School with her sisters. After graduating from Belleville High School in 2011, Tanya spent her life exploring various job opportunities while searching for her niche. She had a profound love and undeniable connection with all animals, but particularly fond of her fur baby ~Bella.
She was also known for her meticulous nature, often described as a clean fanatic who loved to keep things clean. Tanya found happiness in listening to music, free styling (rapping) and making up dance routines at family gatherings. She was an enthusiastic young woman who enjoyed life. She had an eye for style and a passion for fashion. Her laughter was so infectious creating a bond with everyone around her.
LaTanya made her transition to her final resting place on January 4, 2025. She was preceded in death by her sister, Tierra Bell- Williams; her grandparent, Moses (Stevie) Stevens; her aunt, Evelyn Clark-Bell and Great-Grandparents, Abe and Sophronia Bell.
LaTanya's cherished memories will live on in the hearts of her mother, Dineya R. Bell of Redford, MI; her sister, Danielle S. Bell-Williams of Redford, MI; her grandparent, Lalanya K. Bell (Donald) of Ypsilanti, MI; her uncles, Deon Bell and Byron (Danita) Darling of Ypsilanti, MI; her aunt, Kyla Stevens of Belleville, MI, as well as her niece, Tionna Bell; her nephew, Jace Kincannon; and a host of loving cousins and friends.
The loss felt at this time is immeasurable; the family finds comfort in knowing that LaTanya is in a better place and at peace. Her vibrant spirit and loving heart will be deeply missed, but forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
