Joyce Anita Argo-Jordan Obituary

Joyce Anita Argo was born on December 24, 1962, to Richard Charles Argo, Sr. and Delores (Crawford) Argo. Her name symbolized the "Joy" associated with the season of our Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST's birth, embodying the hope that she would lead a joyful life.

Joyce was a Certified Nursing Assistant and a student at Washtenaw Community College, where she was pursuing a degree in Health Care. She worked for three years as a hostess at the Red Lobster Corporation's Carpenter Road location.

To know Joyce was to appreciate her warmth and kindness. However, she often kept a protective barrier around her emotions, allowing only a few to truly understand her. Always willing to assist others, she would selflessly give her all. The description of Joyce as private is both accurate and understated.

With a heart of gold, she was known for her generosity and deep affection. Joyce had a profound love for children, particularly for babies and toddlers.

She was the mother of three daughters, one of whom, Tiffany Jordan, sadly preceded her in death. Additionally, her father and sister, Andrea Argo, also passed away before her.

Joyce's memory will be cherished by her daughters, Tanet Jordan and Talia Argo; her granddaughters, Aamirah Jordan, Malia Argo, and Mariya Argo; her grandson, Daniel Sission; her mother and family matriarch, Delores Argo; her siblings, Cynthia Argo, Richard Argo, II, Valerie Argo, and Rhoshebie Argo; her aunts, Dorothy Jean Jackson of Americus, GA, Henrietta Gilley, Christine King, and Debbie Gordon of Tampa, FL; her uncles, James Townsend (Betty) of Albany, GA, John Crawford, Bruce Crawford, and William Crawford of Tampa, FL; her nephews and nieces, Andrew Cummings, Brittenee Simpson, Breanna Simpson, Rayki Argo Evans, Joshua Argo, Rickey Argo, Rickie Jackson, Jr., Emric Cummings, and Alani Cummings; her cousins, Pearlie Hill, Willie Joe Mercer, Janie Roberts, Sandra Tookes, Donald Clemons, Dwayne Clemons, Thomas Clemons, and Michael Clemons of Americus, GA; her special brother-in-law, Darryl Adams; and her lifelong adopted family member, Steve McDonald.
