With heavy hearts, we are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Devon Marie, who was called home unexpectedly on December 13th 2025 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, at the age of 46. Devon was born in Elyria Ohio on May 2nd 1979. She graduated high school in Medina Ohio in 1998. She moved from Medina to Michigan in 1999 when she got married. Devon worked for the Ypsilanti public transportation where she was a bus monitor.
Devon enjoyed working with the schools and the children she served. She had a deep love for shopping, Jordan’s, music and her beloved fur baby, Bear. Her greatest blessings in life were her daughters and her granddaughter Charli, whom Devon loved immensely and held close to her heart.
Devon was preceded in death by her brothers Walter Moody Jr. (Pedie) and Richard Moody; her maternal grandparents, Charles and Mary Ellen Newsome; her maternal great-grandmother, Virginia Union; and her paternal grandmother, Molly Moody-Pope, and grandfather, Willie Pollard.
Devon is survived by her husband, Spencer Eugene Robinson; her daughters, Cierra Robinson and La’Rayne Conley Robinson, both of Michigan; and her cherished granddaughter Charli Moody. She is also survived by her mother, Jody Moody of Ohio; her father Walter Moody of Ohio; her brothers, Todd (Marcina) Moody, Tracy (Judy) Moody, and Anthony Moody, all of Ohio; and her sisters, Jada Moody and Wytina Johnson, both of Ohio. Devon also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, with two nephews held especially close to her heart, Xavier T. Briggs and Davi Moody.
Family hour for service will be Tuesday December 23rd at 10-11am services to immediately follow at Fresh Start Church. 623 Oak St Ypsilanti Michigan 48198
