Claudia Mae (Mitchell) Simmons began her life on Monday, September 13,1926 and went home to be with our Lord on Monday, October 13, 2025.  She was born from the union of Ozell and Annie Bell Mitchell in Tchula, Mississippi.  Claudia was the second oldest of eight children, all of whom have been called home to be with our Lord.  She leaves behind to cherish her special memories:  Daughters:  Emma Simmons, Eddie Mae Simmons, and Michelle Simmons.  Sons:  William (Yvonne) Simmons, Larry Simmons, James Simmons, Carter Simmons and Michael Simmons and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.  Claudia was preceded in death by her husband (James Simmons), her son (David Simmons) and her daughter (Burnette Simmons).  All Praises to our Lord, God.
