Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, there will be a walk thru public visitation, Thursday May 6, 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Greater Shiloh Church of God in Christ. 1076 Jefferson Avenue Ypsilanti, Michigan 48197.

Elder Garry Bow was born April 5 1946, Ann Arbor, MI to the late Alexander & Margaret Bow. He was the 11th of fifteen siblings (Winfred (Deceased), Cora, Cilia (Deceased), Eva (Deceased), Gertrude (Deceased), Richard (Deceased), Egbert, Etta, Carl (Deceased), Faythe, Gayle, David, Daniel, Amen (Deceased).
He met the love of his life, Dorothy Marie Harrison. They were married on August 5, 1967. From this union was born two beautiful sons, who brought him great love and joy.
Garry served in the U.S army, where he was a paratrooper in the 42nd airborne battalion.
Garry was employed at Rawsonville Ford motor company. Where he worked for 36 years before retiring.

Garry leaves to cherish his memory and celebrate his life: His wife of 53 years, Dorothy Bow; Children: Garry Bow II (Timothea) Dorian Bow (Donnette); Grandchildren: Devin Bow, Cameron Bow, Courtney Bow, Jamari Thompson, Dorian Bow; siblings: Cora Byrd, Faythe Morris, Gayle (Elder Lewis Frye), David (Germaine), Daniel (Diann); IN- LAWs: Diane Bow (Amen, deceased), Mary Harrison Gary (Donna) Harrison, Deborah (Robert) Henderson, Ira (Andrea) Harrison; two uncle-in-laws: Robert Harrison, Isaiah (Lois) one aunt-in-law: Nell Harrison and a host of special nieces, nephews and friends.

Elder Garry Bow was definitely one of a kind and loved by many. He loved God, his family, and others. Garry never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
